A 263-bed JCI-accredited private hospital in Thailand serving over 300,000 patients annually was running all critical patient-facing applications on on-premises infrastructure with no high availability, no disaster recovery, and growing exposure to national data privacy regulations. Partnering with Trade Square, AWS Advance Tier Partner, the hospital executed a full end-to-end cloud migration using the AWS Migration Acceleration Program (MAP) methodology — deploying a secure multi-account AWS Landing Zone and migrating 14 production servers across three applications in a structured three-wave approach. The engagement also included a targeted database modernisation, extracting an on-premises PostgreSQL database to Amazon RDS for PostgreSQL, transitioning from a single-tier to a two-tier architecture. Since completing the migration, the hospital has operated with zero unplanned downtime, achieved full data residency compliance, and established a monitored, resilient cloud foundation to support its continued growth.
